Sharpen your awareness and ability to understand yourself and others.

At AIM, we believe that everyone has great, untapped, unharnessed potential; it’s simply a matter of knowing who you are, what you want, where you want to go, and then determining the best way to get there. Assessments are a profound way of doing that, and at AIM, we offer a range of personal, professional, and organizational assessments to help you or your company reach your goals.

AIM associates accelerate your learning through 360-degree assessments, candid feedback, and customized services designed to focus leadership development, sharpen self-awareness, and hone effectiveness.

Our assessments are designed to uncover strengths, identify challenges, and leverage the great opportunities to move you or your firm forward. You know where you want to go; our assessments tell us where to begin.

At AIM we perform:

  • Virtual Effectiveness Assessments
  • Standardized Quantitative Assessments (i.e. Myers Briggs Type Indicator)
  • Qualitative Assessments (customized)
  • Organizational Needs Assessments

Virtual Effectiveness Assessment

Working remotely has benefits and drawbacks. AIM Leadership’s Virtual Effectiveness Assessment (VEA) identifies an individual’s, team’s, and organizations’ greatest opportunities for improving remote collaborations. VEA assesses workplace design, information sharing, communication strategies, and collaboration barriers. Reports provide focused learning goals that identify high-impact opportunities as well as potential derailers.

How it works:

  • Clients complete a thorough questionnaire assessing work environment, technology, work process, individual work patterns, and future projects. In person, on-site evaluations are available.
  • Data is consolidated and a feedback report is written.
  • An AIM Leadership coach shares the feedback and co-develops a learning plan with the client.
  • Coaching, training, and/or follow-on consultation are options for continued learning.

Quantitative Assessments

Quantitative assessments look at a person’s interests, skill sets, emotions, intellectual capacity, and other personal and professional factors and then provides a score that can help employers and individuals assess talents and proclivities. These types of assessments are excellent ways to determine how and where people fit best in organizations and professions. AIM coaches are certified to administer assessments, interpret existing organizational assessments, or design and implement customized ones. We offer the following:

  • Baron EQ-I and EQI-360

  • PDI’s Profiler

How it works:

  • Through conversations with the client and stakeholders, we identify the ideal assessment tool and clarify the steps needed.
  • Once the client has completed the assessment, the test is scored.
  • An AIM Leadership coach shares the feedback and co-develops a learning plan with the client.
  • Coaching, training, and/or follow-on consultations are options for continued learning.

Qualitative Assessment

Feedback on performance and ability is invaluable, and yet it often goes undelivered. AIM’s qualitative assessments offer a semi-structured way for leaders to solicit targeted feedback and prioritize their learning opportunities. Qualitative assessments also provide a safe, non-confrontational vehicle for colleagues to provide feedback and engage individuals in deeper learning. Assessments are customized and are tailored to focus and accelerate development.

How it works:

  • Through conversations with the client and stakeholders, we clarify the feedback priorities and identify individuals to provide feedback.
  • Core assessment questions are created and vetted.
  • Confidential conversations are conducted and responses are recorded.
  • Data is consolidated and a feedback report is written.
  • An AIM coach meets with the client, delivers feedback, co-creates an action plan, and co-develops strategy for clients to follow up with stakeholders.
  • Coaching, training, and/or follow-on consultations are options for continued learning.
